The highlight of my stay was undoubtedly the expansive collection of over 100 whiskies sourced from every corner of the Scottish Isles. It was a delightful experience to explore such a diverse selection while enjoying a drink by the fire. The accommodations were thoughtfully designed, marrying classic elements with contemporary comfort. My room was adequately furnished, though I did notice some aspects in need of attention, like the wardrobe doors that required a little extra force to slide. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, which was enhanced by the accommodations of special requests at mealtimes. I enjoyed a delicious venison stew, perfect for the chilly weather, crafted with evident care. I did find that noise levels could rise on busy nights. The stay was characterized by attentive service, and while there were a few minor inconveniences, the hotel successfully maintained a balance of heritage and modernity, making it a commendable choice for visitors seeking a cozy retreat.
